Some thoughts on how prepositions are used and how they modify the meaning
of the verb.
|off||take/make something _off_ (successful) result, start, release, leaving from (situation, project, idea, beginning or other context)|
|on||implies/relates to direction, progress of doing|
|out||transforms/converts action from one place/state to another outside of the situation|
|up||makes action coming to the final result, state, stop; makes action quicker, sharper, more aggressive (but sometimes in context of doing something)|
